WHAT WE BELIEVE

WE'RE A MOVEMENT

There’s a reason why Kendrick Lamar collaborated with the National Symphony Orchestra in 2015, and why Black Violin has performed with Wu-Tang Clan and Alicia Keys. It's because classical music is timeless, and belongs to everyone.

The Birdfoot Festival movement promotes these ideas through the performance of chamber music. We’re an inclusive community of friends of different races, origins, and backgrounds, and we believe that chamber music creates a shared sense of humanity.

We believe that chamber music, regardless of the century it was written in, is relevant in today’s world.

In these divisive times, we play music to unite. This music belongs to you.

We also play music to empower. We empower you to see the possibilities in art, and make them relevant to your life.

And we play music to inspire. We bear witness to some of the greatest stories ever told.

Join the movement to remove all barriers from music, and unite, empower, and inspire chamber music lovers from around the world.
